Michael Jackson gets his own 'Milli'

Well, sort of...as I was looking on Ebay, and saw this. It reminds me of the commemorative Obama dollar bills floating around awhile back.

Leela James, Dwele: B.B. King NYC show review, photos & videos posted

Here's what Planet Ill said about the Leela James & Dwele July 9 performance at B.B. King in New York City...

Leela James

She began her set with a “It’s a Mans Man’s Man’s World”, a soulful rock rendition of James Brown’s original while donning a black and white glove on her right hand as an ode to the late Michael Jackson. She then transitioned to one of her best-known records, a jazzed up “Good Time”.

After lecturing the crowd about not dancing and vibing with the music, Leela along with her back-up singers draped in red and black did a mini choreography routine to Rick James’ “Give It To Me Baby”, then grabbed a photographer in the front stage and pulled him up for a dance with the pint-sized chanteuse.

Dwele

Dwele hit the stage to a collection of screaming women as he opened with “Body Rock” from his latest album, Sketches Of A Man (Koch). He then went into “How I Deal” a track he created in between albums, singing the all too familiar story of chasing the almighty dollar as those in the standing room area of BB Kings moved closer to the stage.

Kid Cudi and Kanye West at N.A.S.A. Cork Ireland show as suprise guests

While Kid Cudi and Kanye West were in town performing at the Marquee July 8 in Cork Ireland, they stepped into N.A.S.A.'s show across town at the Pavillion as surprise special guests.

This is what first hand reporter DJ Stevie G said about the Kanye West and Kid Cudi appearance

Kanye West suprised loads of Cork music fans by turning up last night to my Jam night in the Pavilion in Cork and performing alongside fellow rapper Kid Cudi at an intimate gig by hot U.S. supergroup N.A.S.A.! Earlier Kanye had rocked Live at the Marquee in Cork for the 3rd time but the 300 strong crowd at the much smaller Pavilion couldn't believe it when he took to the stage just after 1 a.m. and rapped on his own "Gifted" track from N.A.S.A.'s "Spirit of the Apollo" album, which features guests such as Kanye, Tom Waits, M.I.A, George Clinton and more.
