Wyld Money And The Clipse In The Studio
After giving us that 'G-Spot' track with Gucci Mane, Wyld Money demands more attention by working with fellow Virginia native sons' The Clipse, seen here working on a new track in the studio.
I noticed on Wyld Money's MySpace page, he's an independent artist with his affiliated Crown Life Entertainment, but it also looks like Wyld is signed to artist & songwriter Kevin Cossom's music label N.A.R.S. (stands for - New Age Rock Stars). You may know Kevin's work, he wrote Keri Hilson's massive hit 'Knock You Down'.

Clipse Live At The University Of Houston Concert Recap
via XXL
The fact that Virginia-bred duo the Clipse has a fanatical, cult-like following couldn’t have been more apparent than at the University of Houston’s Frontier Fiesta last Friday (March 26).
“We have a good fan base that follows us wherever we go,” Pusha T said. “It’s always a select bunch of Clipsters that come out to our shows.”
Clipse started their set with the chord organ-laced “Momma, I’m So Sorry,” before segueing into “What Happened to That Boy,” sans Birdman. Re-Up Gang member Ab-Liva then rotated into the cipher to bless “Cot Damn” with his 16 before fading back into the woodwork.
Malice and Pusha kept it moving with selections from their We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series, riding the hard-hitting collection of jacked beats with their trademark vivid and witty rhymes.
The brothers Thornton then dug deep into their back catalog of hits, including the unhinged, percussion-driven “Grindin’” and “Mr. Me Too.” The crowd of students recited every word like it was hip-hop karaoke night.
Not surprisingly, the self-proclaimed pioneers of coke-rap closed the show with “Kinda Like a Big Deal,” “I’m Good” and “Popular Demand (Popeyes)” from their latest LP, ‘Til The Casket Drops.

Musician Chin Injeti Gets Big Name Production Credits w/DJ Khalil
via Vancouver's Straight.com
Local producer Chin Injeti and his L.A.–based partner, DJ Khalil, were responsible for some of the sounds on Til the Casket Drops by Clipse. In fact, the duo produced the first single from the new record, “Kinda Like a Big Deal”—which also features Kanye West. The team also scored a production credit for “Could’ve Been You” on 50 Cent’s Before I Self Destruct.
“It’s been an exciting year,” Injeti told the Straight, fresh from a trip to L.A. to put the finishing touches on his and Khalil’s album as the New Royales. “Khalil is signed to Aftermath Entertainment, so he’s quite an up-and-comer, and whenever we do something, it gets played. We’re synonymous with a certain sound.”

24 Hours With The Clipse
Last week, The Clipse made another Southern California tour run.
Here's a 24 hour snap shot of what The Clipse were up to.
It just goes to show you that even the established rap acts who are signed to a major label like The Clipse have to keep promoting themselves by getting out there to the fans by using traditional vehicles that reach the fans (live shows, radio, retail, etc.)
August 17 Monday Evening - House of Blues, West Hollywood, CA
with The Cool Kids.
The Clipse footage starts at 1:11 mark.
August 18 Tuesday Morning - Meet and Greet at V.I.P. Records
in Long Beach, CA
August 18 Tuesday Afternoon - Blazin 98.9 Radio in San Diego, CA
